Bass, among others is seeking a Benefits HR Data Analyst to join it's team based on New York City. 


The Benefits & HR Data Analyst is responsible for assisting the Benefits & Compensation Director with the administration of global benefit and compensation programs and special assigned projects.



  • Conduct new hire benefits orientation for US corporate offices
  • Assist in the creation of wellness initiatives
  • Process benefits related invoices
  • Maintain benefits eligibility and data integrity of HR and benefits systems
  • Coordinate meetings and materials for annual Open Enrollment
  • Assist with Open Enrollment validation process
  • Develop and document procedures to streamline processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Maintain Leave of Absence records and process with third party FMLA/disability carriers
  • Understanding of benefits law: HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, IRS, DOL, ERISA regulations
  • Experience with 401k administration


  • ADP Experience preferred
  • Understanding of data fields, reporting, and file connectivity to benefits vendors
  • Assist with employee data management: hire, term, leave of absence, etc.


  • Administer the Garment Allowance program
  • Assist with ad-hoc HR projects as needed


  • 3-4 years of reporting/data analysis desirable
  • Understanding of employee benefits
  • Ability to organize and review large sums of data
  • Demonstrate high level of accuracy
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal)
