Bass, among others seeks an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join its team based in NYC.


 The primary purpose of this position is to ensure business needs meet the highest of standards in regards to Accounts Payable invoice processing, team dynamics, integrity and knowledge of accounts payable processes. Provide support to increase productivity and overall performance of accounts payable processing in compliance with company set standards and SOX internal controls.



  • Responsible for the daily scanning of new vendor request, vendor profile changes and attaching them to JDE supplier master records.
  • Assist with the document gathering for new vendor updates.
  • Assist in the daily sorting and distribution of incoming mail, which includes external and inter-office mail.
  • Print/distribute invoices and other correspondence from the AP invoices email inbox to other AP members.
  • Assist in the weekly check-run by matching invoices to check remittances.
  • Make copies of select invoices for the Accounting Department, Internal Audit and G-III’s external Auditors when needed.
  • Provide assistance in other areas of accounts payable when needed.
  • Other miscellaneous AP duties such as sorting and filing paid invoices



  • Knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of Accounts Payable
  • Knowledge and understanding of MS Excel and Word
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be detail oriented and organized
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
  • JD Edwards or similar preferred, but not required.
