Bass, among others is seeking a Showroom Coordinator to join its team based in New York City.

Responsibilities

  • Organization, coordination and monitoring of Markets
  • Recruitment of temporary staff (sellers, pullers, receptionist) supporting Account Executive
  • Organization of models (casting, key contact with model agency)
  • Organization of Catering Service in line with market calendars
  • Cooperation with VM for showroom set-up
  • Collections (carnets) arrival/return
  • Organization of showroom events
  • General showroom and office maintenance (i.e supplying of office stuff)
  • Supervision of all maintenance contracts
  • Key person for all employee for everything related to operational activities (space management, office maintenance, office supplies, use of office equipment)
  • Key person for suppliers 
  • Evaluation of possible better suppliers 
  • Coordination of IT guy (new positions to be set up in occasion of new hires, preparation for market, server installation and general IT maintenace)
  • Coordination and planning of refurbishment works together with New York store planning department. 
  • Person in charge for all personal and garment orders (sorting, delivery and payment)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in fashion related field
  • Interest in fashion 
  • Must be team player
  • Must have experience in sales
  • Must be proficient in Excel, Powerpoint and Word
