Bass, among others, is seeking a highly-motivated, results driven account executive with entrepreneurial spirit and strong sales experience to join the Kensie team based in New York City!




Success Profile:


  • Manage the business for given accounts such as Amazon, Zappos, Belk, Stitchfix, Lord & Taylor, HBC,  Urban Outfitters, AAFES
  • Present line to buyers at Market meetings
  • Identify brand appropriate sales opportunities and actively prospect new business
  • Analyze on-orders to ensure well merchandised assortment to achieve sales plan
  • Develop and/or maintain and improve business relations with customers Manage open to buys for department store accounts, with support of planning department
  • Analyze sales statistics to determine business growth potential, customer needs and pricing profiles
  • Coordinate sales operations with all other departments/divisions of the Company 
  • Manage showroom interns and recruit for intern program



  • Minimum 3-5 years of apparel sales / industry experience
  • Experience working with major departments stores and specialty stores
  • Strong working knowledge of the market and industry
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Proficient in retail math with sell-through analysis and gross margin calculations
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft office: Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Educational Background:


  • 4 year BA/BS degree or equivalent
