Bass, among others, seeks a PR Assistant to join the Public Relations team based in New York City!


  • Manage and supervise PR intern, delegating tasks and tracking progress
  • Oversee sample requests and maintain up-to-date sample activity log
  • Pitch and secure trend and seasonal product features
  • Support VP with celebrity and influencer dressing
  • Maintain and update all global media lists
  • Track, clip and distribute brand press and product placement; create and distribute weekly and monthly press recaps to company, and licensing/global partners
  • Draft press materials including seasonal collection overviews, category launches and new store openings
  • Participate in execution of seasonal press previews and accompanying VIP events; create recap following each preview including feedback
  • Partner with marketing team to conceive + execute events generating brand awareness and PR value, including brand initiatives, major store openings/new markets and influencer partnerships; secure pre and post event press coverage
  • Cultivate and strengthen meaningful relationships with editors, stylists and influencers through regular outings and attendance at key industry events


  • Bachelor Degree required
  • 2+ years of fashion Public Relations experience
  • Efficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point, and Fashion GPS
  • Strong written and oral communication skills 
  • Works well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
