Bass, among others, seeks a Design Room Assistant to join its team based in New York City!


The design room assistant will help with various tasks for the design team.


  • Oversee all office supplies are in stock and place orders as needed for all Design Teams, R&D Team, and PD Dept
  • Manage the scheduling and administering of calendars for both Creative Directors as well as support in all administrative tasks including email correspondence, scanning, copying, and filing, in addition to submitting all corporate/business expenses.
  • Process and track all invoices from Fabric R&D Team, Dress Division, and Design Team. Make sure all invoices are labeled correctly with corresponding paperwork, signed by appropriate Creative Director, then forwarded for approval.
  • Keep track of all expenses from entire design team to help manage design budget, including all invoices, supply orders, freelance hour logs, model expenses, specialty purchases.
  • Ensure meeting room is clean at all times, set with appropriate seating for meetings, as well
  • Tag all purchased Sample Garments, photograph, and add to Shared Drive for all to access.
  • Help assemble and disassemble design boards.
  • Organize and move clothing racks as needed.
