    GIII Apparel Group is currently seeking an Visual Merchandising Coordinator to join it's New York based team.


    The Visual Merchandising Coordinator is responsible for setting, directing and communicating the VM Presentation for Accessories for the wholesale business, reporting to the Director of Visual Merchandising.  The VM Associate is upholding the DKNY brand image in all International Partner stores and Wholesale Shops through in-store visual presentations, educational tools/materials, and visual training. The VM Associate is responsible for partnering with Director of VM on the development, production, and execution of all VM communication tools: Product Knowledge, and Delivery Directives (ZOGs) for DKNY Wholesale Stores and International Partner stores. He/she should partner with the Sales and Merchandising teams to maximize sales and maintain the DKNY brand image through the implementation of DKNY Visual Merchandising presentation. He/she is responsible for setting the DKNY Showroom for Market and PR/Editorial events to ensure projects are achieved on time.



    • Maintain and promote brand integrity in VM presentations.
    • Responsible for the completion of information, graphic layout and allocation of all visual merchandising directives to Wholesale accounts.
    • Set and write the VM direction monthly for all Wholesale accounts.
    • Provide feedback to stores on visual strengths and opportunities.
    • Partner with the Sales teams to edit, pre plan, and map future deliveries through the Go To Market process calendar.
    • Partner with the Director of VM to Write and create of all visual merchandising educational materials, specifically how to manuals and standards manuals.
    • Develop necessary visual tools to support stores in successful visual execution
    • Determine CC capacities and partner with Merchants/Sales on assortments.
    • Assist on special projects related on fixture design/development, store layouts, and specialty requests.
    • Travel to select store locations for special visual projects such as store re-zoning, visits, visual training, etc.
    • Stay up to date on fashion industry and market trends
    • Respond to business needs with a sense of urgency


    • Develop and work within monthly planning calendars for all visual merchandising projects.
    • Develop and work within weekly action plan for all visual merchandising projects.
    • Partner with Wholesale VM partners to ensure brand presentation standards translate and uphold the DKNY brand image.


    • Partner with the Director of VM on showroom set ups for Market
    • Set the merchandising and visuals for PR press and events



    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
    • 2+ years of visual merchandising experience.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Excellent presentation skills
    • Work for long hours on feet
    • Must be able to lift 30lbs
    • Bachelor’s degree +
