In addition, G-III currently designs, manufactures and markets an extensive range of apparel, including outerwear, dresses, sportswear, beachwear, women's suits and women's performance wear, as well as luggage and women's handbags, small leather goods and various accessories.


    GIII Apparel Group is currently seeking a Jr. Account Executive to join it's Outerwear team based in New York City!


    • Responsible for handling all weekly shipments to ensure on time routing, complete shipment, etc.
      • Take in, check for accuracy, and process weekly EDI blankets, POMs and distros for all shipments
      • Communicate with customer to make any necessary corrections/changes to EDIs and ensure retransmissions are properly processed in a timely manner
      • Communicate daily with internal EDI, allocation, and warehouse teams to ensure all POs are taken in, processed, allocated and shipped correctly and on time within vendor routing requirements
      • Work with the warehouse to ensure all goods are properly packaged and ticketed per customer orders and channel requirements (retail stores vs. ecommerce POs) for each week’s shipments
    • Update weekly flow shipment trackers by customer/brand to ensure POs are coming in and going out on time and communicate any changes with the internal planning team for them to update any ladder plans that may affect overall sales for the season
    • Monitor selling reports and support in deep dive door analysis when necessary to find sales opportunities to grow the business
    • Work with the Levi’s corporate MC teams regularly to communicate doors of concern or opportunity that we want them to pay special attention to, etc.
    • Regularly scrub websites to ensure product images, titles, and copy are accurate and stock that is on hand is showing live on site and pricing is aligned with agreed upon cadences
    • Coordinate planning of NY markets and client office visits
      • Ensure all current and upcoming season samples are in showroom or ready to be sent
      • Prepare and check all seasonal product books are accurate and most up to date
      • Ensure showrooms are prepped with all necessary sales materials
      • Order food/beverage as needed for meetings
    • Upon new season placements responsible for –
      • Supporting SAE in entering bulk orders per customer buy sheets
      • Supporting SAE in issuing cut tickets with accurate sizing to production team
      • Completing all Lot set up forms/K-link product attributes templates and uploading all vendor chromes to ensure on time turn in
      • Communicating with production team to confirm accurate ticket information for factory
      • Responsible for placing and tracking all new season and in season sample requests for advertising and any special requests per season
      • Prepare shipments to be sent and properly ticketed to customers
      • Coordinate with Marketing/PR as needed for additional requests


    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
    • Experience with JCPenney/Kohl’s for at least 2+ year working directly with PO management and logistics
    • Experienced working on the JCP Vendor Supplier and Kohl’s Connection/Kohl’s K-Link online portals
    • Experience with AS400 is preferred
    • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
    • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills
    • Ability to multi-task and excel in a high paced & high pressure environment
